Create a cold call script

Get a script for calling one specific company, with words to say at every stage of the call.

Steps​

  1. Open your product. On Home, click Cold call script.
  2. Type the Company name and Website, for example Canva and canva.com.
  3. Optional: add the Prospect name, their LinkedIn, the Tone you want (for example friendly and direct) and any Notes.
  4. Click Generate cold call script.
  5. Wait about a minute while Edithly researches the company. The script opens when it's ready.
  6. Read it top to bottom, then click Copy all to paste it into your notes or CRM.

What's in the script​

  • Check before you dial: facts to confirm first
  • Opener and Permission ask: your first 20 seconds
  • Discovery questions: what to ask, and what to listen for
  • Objections: what they might say, and what to say back
  • Close, Voicemail and Gatekeeper lines
  • Do not say: things to avoid with this company

Good to know​

  • Credits: each script uses 3 credits.
  • Copy one line: click the copy icon next to any line.
  • Find it later: every script is saved at the top of History. Click Open.
